3.  At the bottom of the page, click on ÒTake the Ecological Footprint Quiz.Ó

a.    Follow the prompts and then answer the questions to the quiz.

b.    Print out your responses to the 16 questions. 

c.     Print out your ÒQuiz Results.Ó

 

4.  Read the section on ÒIndividualsÓ under the ÒWhat You Can DoÓ column.

 

5.  Read the section on ÒWhat about Population?Ó under ÒComments and Questions.Ó

 

6.  Write a 2 page essay (single spaced, 1Ó margins, 12 pt. Font) or 4 page essay (double-spaced, 1Ó margins, 12 pt. Font) and address each of the following:

    1. What were the results of your ecological footprint?
    2. How did you feel about the results of your ecological footprint?
    3. Is your type of consumption/lifestyle sustainable?
    4. What three things could you do to minimize your ecological footprint?
    5. What is the EarthÕs carrying capacity?  Explain your answer in detail.
    6. What factors may influence the number of people Earth can support?
    7. What is the solution to this growing problem?
